One Of These 5 Players Will Play Against England If Virat Kohli Fails To Recover!

Team India is all set to play a full-fledged tour of England which will consist of a 3 match Test Series, 3 Match One Day Series and 5 Test Matches respectively.

The upcoming England tour has certainly been a much-anticipated one and the leader of the team- Virat Kohli, is the most pumped up of them all. The man was all set to play some County Cricket before an injury prevented him to do so. Kohli is in complete rest mode now trying his level best to get back to 100 % before the 1st week of July when the T20 series begins. There is a serious chance that he might regain his full fitness back by that time but what if he doesn’t? Well, that’s certainly a ‘Million Dollar Question’ but what if he doesn’t?

Well, Let’s have a look at 5 players who could replace Virat Kohli for the upcoming T20 Series.

1. Surya Kumar Yadav

Yadav opened the batting for the Mumbai Indians this season and literally smashed it to all parts of the ground. He was the owner of 512 runs in the recently concluded Indian Premier League and has certainly done enough to earn a Team India call.

2. Sanju Samson

Started the IPL season on an amazing note but eventually turned hot and cold but still managed to score 441 runs in the 15 seasons he has played in. Samson could just be the man who could replace Virat Kohli at number 3.

3. Shreyas Iyer

Was promoted as the captain of the Delhi Daredevils and he has been a changed man ever since. The fact that he was also in the limited overs squad during the recently held Indian tour of South Africa, there is a serious possibility that if there is no Virat Kohli, Iyer might be the man who could grab this opportunity.

4. Mayank Aggarwal

Aggarwal has a story which has a couple of versions to it. He had the best possible’ Domestic Season’ and the worst possible Indian Premier League. What do you do now if you’re an Indian Selector? That’s indeed a tricky one Cric Crak must admit.

5. Rishabh Pant

There is absolutely no doubt that Rishabh Pant is a special man. According to Sir Sachin Tendulkar, the man played the best innings in the history of the tournament in the IPL 2017 and the left-handed certainly backed it up by finishing as the highest run scorer in the IPL 2018.

Cric Crak would love to know your opinion on this one. If there is a situation where Kohli needs to be replaced, who would that be according to you? Do let us know your opinion in the comments section below. Meanwhile, let’s hope that Virat Kohli stays fit as a fiddle as a Virat Kohli on song is still a better love story than Twilight.
